The application uses avatars instead of real world images and connects people using an algorithm. The application is Tencent-backed. Tencent is a large technological giant located in China. Tencent Holdings is its official name. The internet-based company was founded in 1998.
Soul Is Seeking A Listing With Hong Kong Exchange
The application Soul is seeking a listing with Hong Kong Exchange, following cancelation of its intention to sell company shares to the United States. The company confesses to making a $193 million loss and wants the listing to help it go public and reach many users. The application has about 32 million users for now.

The Metaverse and Employment?
Michael Hobbs, the CEO of "Which Days" took to LinkedIn stating personal views about the application. Michael fails to understand how dating can move from face-to-face to using avatars. It beats the logic of dating.
Truth is, companies will adopt Soul technology and use it to create work profiles. Work also has a relationship, between employer and employees. Michael Hobbs calls it the "psychological contract".
The Patterns of early stage dating are now different, which means early stage employment patterns will change too, especially with Generation Z.
